I ran across a will from 1718 yesterday at work. Usually wills that old are in the Secretary of State papers, and they have been retired and we have to look at them on microfilm. So it was kind of a treat to look at the thing. The first page basically says that the will is real. That one looks like people think all old documents should look. The second image is of the actual will. I can even read it, but I'm not going to spend the time transcribing it for you ungrateful people. I did notice he mentions a "negro lad named Tom."
