I saw the movie Downfall last night. It is about Hitler's last days in his bunker in Berlin, for any of you folks who aren't familiar with it. I think I recall someone complaining that the movie "humanized" Hitler. I don't see why people have a problem with that. Hitler was a human being, people act like he was a two-headed demon you could spot a block away.
One thing that struck me in the film was Hitler's dog. The poor thing didn't even know he was Hitler's dog. He just sat around, thinking dog stuff like: "Where's my food? Someone scratch my ears!"
