Today at work we hauled out the Carolina Charter of 1663. This is from when King Charles II granted what is now North and South Carolina to the Eight Lords Proprietors.
This thing usually lives in a vault, and it is the first time I got to see it. A little history of it and how we got it here. You can read the text of the document here.
