Killing Zombies

Well, I'm pretty much addicted to this game. I killed 129 zombies the other night. One trick is try and shoot them as they're climbing out of the ground, it only takes one shot then. Use the "shift key" to use the shotgun. That is, if you have a shift key.

Did You Know Department:

On May 6, 1865, General James G. Martin surrendered the last Confederate forces in North Carolina near Waynesville.

On May 8, 1587, three ships departed England with nine-nine men, seventeen women and nine boys (one infant) headed to the New World. They landed at Roanoke Island and eventually became known to history as "Lost Colony."

On May 11, 1898, North Carolina native Worth Bagley, U.S. Navy ensign, became the first American officer killed in the Spanish-American War. A monument to Bagley can be found on Capitol Square in Raleigh.

On May 14, 1932, the North Carolina Symphony under the direction of Lamar Stringfeld played its first concert in Hill Hall at the University of North Carolina.

As always, I shamelessly stole the above from a newsletter at work.

I'd taken the cure and had just gotten through...
