Yeah Yeah Yeah
I gotta come up with something after complaining to James about him not updating his blog. There is a difference between James and I (besides hair, height, and me having a keyboard with a working shift key). James, we expect you to post witty, NPR-y, slices of life several times a week on your blog, but here at Stumpage Reports? Shit, who knows what is expected by my audience of six.
So here goes, still reading this. I know its been awhile. I have a review of it due the end of this month. I hope to get it done this week.
I'm also reading for the very first time Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card. I'm enjoying the heck out of it, it's one of those books I've been schlepping around a paperback copy of for years, knowing I was destined to read it someday.
My last post on Metafilter pretty much tanked.
Next week I'm having hernia surgery! Or, as Koko the Jewish Librarian refers to it, "himnia." The good news is I've reached my deductible for my medical insurance, and I'll be out of work for a week. Having experienced this before, I know I'll only be out of it for about one day. I'm hoping to get a lot of work done on my paper and do some general being lazy. I hope that's enough information for everyone.
