I've Been Busy, Dammit
Yesterday I was reading a news story on the 1000th U.S. combat death in Iraq, here's a few facts I pulled out of the story:
More than three dozen were foreign born. At least 10 died waiting for citizenship.
With the largest deployment of Guard and Reserve units since World War II, about 18 percent of deaths were part-time troops. About 70 percent were killed in action; 160 in accidental deaths, and at least 27 committed suicide. Friendly-fire killed a dozen.
At least five children lost their mothers.
Fun Stuff
Last weekend I went to a dog park with a friend of mine and her dog, it was a blast.
I like my job, but right now having to work for a living sucks.
