Piglets, Bomblets and Little Kidlets

Last week I was a font of creativity, I could of done three blog entries a day. Now, for three days, can't come up with anything.

Today I heard a news report about some Iraqi children being injured by unexploded "bomblets." I believe they are actually small, unexploded cluster bombs. I think if you use the suffix "-let" and the end of anything, that thing should be cute. Like a piglet, or a veal cutlet.

I just hope no more Iraqi kidlets get hurt by bomblets while they are taking care of the family sheeplets.

And just when think humanity can sink no lower that Donald Rumsfield, England's Defence Secretary said that mothers of Iraqi children killed by cluster bombs would one day thank Britain for their use.

Quote of the Day:

"The little bugger," Nick said.

"Do you know what a bugger is?" his father asked him.

"We call anything a bugger," Nick said.

"A bugger is a man who has intercourse with animals."

"Why?" Nick said.

"I don't know," his father said. "But it is a heinous crime."

Nick's imagination was both stirred and horrified by this and he thought of various animals but none seemed attractive or practical and that was the sum total of direct sexual knowledge bequeathed him by his father.
