The Apocalypse is Nigh
That title has nothing to do with school, just a book I'm reading.
I had hoped to whip off my Automation class project real quick today, but its taking longer than I thought. As for the paper in my Preservation class, it's starting to feel like that damn thing I wrote last week. It won't be as bad though, this one is only 12 pages and I've actually done some writing on it.
This blog has been really pathetic, all there is is school.
Right now I can't picture life without some school deadline.
After school is over you can read about me bitching about moving.
So what am I doing? Reading The Stand by Stephen King, an 1100+ page book I've already read about six times. I'm kinda low on fiction, most of its packed away.
Links:
Without Sanctuary, an exhibit of lynching photographs, not for the squeamish.
As long as I'm on this pleasant theme, here's the Morbid Fact Du Jour.
Something cute to alleviate the grimness of the above links, The I Love You Kitten, courtesy of B3ta. Turn it up!
Lots of quotes of the founding fathers talking about religion here. But of course the guy doesn't cite his sources and he could be making it all up.
Quote of the Day:
This is a night when kings in golden mail ride their elephants over the mountains.
--- John Cheever, The Stories of John Cheever, preface, 1978.
I have no idea what the above quote means or what he was talking about but I like the way it sounds.
